This will be a short report as it was a short but painful day for me.
I took the Fuse to ASCI thinking I had progressed enough to try it again. Well, it performed admirably, without me. It bounded from eddy to eddy in a permenent bow stall (ala Dan's Kingpin on the LY) for about 20 minutes with me in chase muttering a few choice words. My paddle meanwell was having a party one eddy down and across the course. Back in the boat, but not for long. The Fuse thought I might like to experience slamming into a boulder on the lower section. I didn't like it. I fell out. The Fuse once again enjoyed some unencumbered eddy hopping. Two runs and six swims later I gave up. And I swear I heared a quiet whisper of "thanks for the good time" from the Fuse right before I throttled it with a strap to the uprights.:bash:
