I've been lurking (and occasionally posting) on here for a while, but my wife and I just sent in our membership applications. Wanted to check on getting access to the trip planning forum. Thanks!

Just picked up your membership application. Michelle should have you cleared to get in soon.

As a preview, the top thread in the Trip Planning forum is the Paddling Pig at Paint Creek on March 14.

I have been a royal slacker here lately!

I promise to get membership updated on the website tonight and let everyone know what's going on. Plus I'll get the trip list up and hopefully have a newsletter out in March.

Of course, it is a beautiful warm day and I have a new bicycle in the garage that I'm dying to ride..... I'll do what I can. I'm sure you understand right....?

Membership, to the best of my ability is updated. Unfortunately it is not an exact science as I'm trying to match screen names to the membership forms. If you paid up and still don't have full access please let me know your screen name and I'll get it taken care of right away.

No progress on the trip list, should have a bit more free time tomorrow to get it taken care of.

There is a place on the membership application to put your Website ID. If you use it, it would make Michelle's job easier. Some are obvious, but some are not!

Looks like I'm still not able to get in. Screen name is Boilerblues, real name is Ben Swain.

Is it a road bike or mountain bike? If it's a road bike, we're doing the best ever trip around the Red River Gorge KY area. My vote is for doing it just prior to the Russell Fork trip, then we'd be half way there!

It's a road bike and it is purple and very pretty. I am quite smitten with it and pleased with the purchase. Honestly, I was worried the salesman was just trying to sell me the bike because of the color! You know how they can be towards a "newbie" who doesn't know very much.

I should be in shape enough to handle a ride with Gwen and crew by the time Russell Fork rolls around. I'm really enjoying the ride when the weather permits and can't wait to get out on a regular basis.

Were you able to get a matching (or at least coordinating) helmet and jersey? It is gorgeous. C'mon out and play with us when the weather gets nice!

The Michelle,

Does getting a new bike mean we should expect you to be running around camp in tight little bicycle shorts all the time now ????
